The San Mateo County Fair is a perfect family outing, we are the one-stop family fun day. We offer families and kids so many activities and attractions, it takes more than one day to see them all.
San Mateo County Fair Farm
Come visit the Farm – see animals raised on local San Mateo County Farms entered into the Fair for Ribbons and Prizes by our 4-H participants and Future Farmers of America. From rabbits, turkeys and chickens to lambs, pigs, goats and steers. See all the barn animals in at the Farm.

Join us on our Australian adventure as we meet kangaroos, wallaroos, wallabies and even baby joeys! Enjoy the amazing laugh of the kookaburra and visit with all of our lizard friends. All found only in the land down under! Aussie Kingdom brings the Australian outback to life.
Roberto the Magnificent
Captivating audiences for more than two decades, Roberto the Magnificent is recognized as one of the nation’s most unique variety acts performing throughout the USA. Roberto the Magnificent has appeared at thousands of events from civic performances, state fairs, music & arts festivals and schools.

Children will have a chance to feed butterflies with nectar-dipped sticks at the San Mateo County Fair, as the Fair open June 8th, 2019. Kids of all ages will enjoy a close encounter with butterflies, a truly unique experience!
Boom! Percussion Entertainment
BOOM! Percussion Entertainment provides High Impact novelty entertainment for corporate and other large scale events. Each ensemble performance is designed to bring a burst of energy and create a memorable, surprise experience for the guests. BOOM! offers an LED Trash Can Percussion group, LED Drumline, Marching Band, and a Samba group.
Chinese Acrobats of Hebei
Location: Plaza Stage
We are delighted to host the Acrobats of Hebei China. Rigorously trained, superbly skilled and highly accomplished acrobatic troupe. They are talented and disciplined athletes who have entertained the world by performing an awe-inspiring spectacle leaving audiences amazed and delighted. Times 12:30pm, 3:30pm & 5:30pm Daily. The Family Game Zone made its debut last year at the 2018 San Mateo County Fair. It was created with the idea that people of all ages could have an area to be enjoyed together. Some of the games you’ll find there are Life Size Connect 4, Corn Hole, Life Size Chess and Checkers, and Classic Ring Toss.

Brings the excitement of discovery through hands-on science. Participants will enjoy investigating science at their own pace in a friendly and inviting environment. Newton's Laws, Kid's Construction Area, Mind Bogglers, Balancing Act and much more...!

Faster than a speeding train, bigger than a rabbit, and loves Oreo cookies! This show is educational and exciting and includes audience participation, pig trivia, pig cheerleaders, speedway flags, and fun prizes for winning cheerleaders. Location TBD. 12pm, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm Daily.
San Mateo's Creative Kids
Get in on the fun and tradition of SAN MATEO’S KIDS, San Mateo County Fair’s creative and educational competitions for kids from pre-school through high school. Check out the all-new 2019 competitions such as Art, Photography, Sewing, Science, Hobby Collections, Quilting, Needlework, Woodworking, Drafting, and Creative Writing are always popular…and so much fun! Mobile Glass Studio
The mobile glassblowing experience brings the artistry and education of glass making beyond the studio walls to your location. Viewers will experience a multitude of information surrounding the lost art of glassblowing. Glassblowing is an interdisciplinary art form that embodies art, science, math, history, and teamwork. From glassblowing demonstrations to hands-on workshops, spectators will gain a vast knowledge of the process of manipulating hot glass into various shapes and forms.
Happy Day Pony Rides
Happy Day Pony rides is a longtime favorite for every child with a picture to take home In addition Happy Day Pony Rides has an Equine Education Station with general information on horses and ponies. A customer favorite is the biography with fun facts about every child's favorite pony. Every page describes each pony in detail, including breed, weight, age, gender, color, and that ponies history. Free educational flyers are available to the children and their families to take home.

Butler Amusements Carnival Rides
Carnival Rides including The Freak Out is Back! The Fair introduced this new carnival ride in 2014. It flies passengers 40 feet into the air. The Freak Out joins Fair favorites like the Ferris Wheel, Bumper Cars, Zillerator, and roller coasters. 2019 will be the forty-ninth year that Butler Amusements, Inc. has served fairs, celebrations, festivals and fundraising events in the Western United States. With a large array of rides, attractions, games and food concessions, Butler Amusements can provide complete carnival events of any size.
