Thank you for your interest in the San Mateo County Fair's Competitive Exhibits Program.

General Information

  • First, review the "What To Enter" Section below and decide what you can bring. Second, read all the rules and then sign up online or using the downloadable entry form below. Third, drop off your exhibit during the designated drop off time. It's that simple!

  • All entry forms (except where noted) are due postmarked by Wednesday, July 9th.

  • There are no geographic restrictions for exhibitors at the San Mateo County Fair. All counties in California and beyond are allowed to enter.

    Check-in procedures for Competitive Exhibits:

  • ALL EXHIBITORS are required to check in at the Competitive Exhibits Office located at Gate E to pick up their exhibitor packet/entry tags/tickets prior to delivering items to their respective buildings/departments.

  • The only exception to this rule is for exhibits brought in during fair days (August 8-17th). Each Department Coordinator will have those entry tags and you will need to check in directly with those individuals.


  • What To Enter

    Offical Entry has closed for the 2008 San Mateo County Fair. Thank you for your participation in the 2008 San Mateo County Fair!

    YOUTH CATEGORIES
    These departments are available only for young people to enter. There are no entry fees for participating.

    YOUTH EXHIBITS: Photography, cooking, woodworking, technology, leadership, clothing, etc.
    YOUTH LIVESTOCK: All animal entries such as beef cattle, sheep and chickens!

    ADULT & YOUTH CATEGORIES
    These departments are available for both adults and youth.

    HOME ARTS: Quilting, crafts, woodworking, sewing and more!
    CULINARY ARTS: Wine making, baking, canning, table settings, etc.
    FINE ARTS: Visual arts, technology, literary arts
    AGRICULTURE:Vegetables, fruits, educational exhibits
    Potted plants, artistic arrangements, cut flowers
    GARDEN LANDSCAPE:We provide the garden plot & help - you provide the garden!

    Where To Go and Who To Ask


    The Competitive Exhibits Office is the central check in and information point for all exhibitors at the San Mateo County Fair.

    The office will be open weekdays (Monday-Friday) from June 2nd - August 29th. Prior to June 2nd all inquiries can be directed to the San Mateo County Event Center Administrative Office.

    This office will handle all inquiries related to information listed in the Entry & Prize Catalog including entry procedures, guidelines, schedules, etc.
