San Mateo County Fair announces Open Casting Call for 2008 Fair Commercial!

The San County Fair will be holding an open casting call in San Mateo on June 21st. The call is for an upcoming television commercial for the San Mateo County Fair, August 8- 17, 2008.

The commercial will be filmed at Bay Meadows Race Track, which will run its final Fair Race Meet beginning August 6th. The open call gives area residents the unique opportunity to be a part of the experience of being down on the track, as well as the chance to share their enthusiasm for the San Mateo County Fair with the community!

The casting call begins at 11 a.m. on June 21st at Bay Meadows Race Track. Auditions will be held for speaking roles, but all participants will have the chance to be on camera. Please click here to download the consent form.

“We are very excited at this opportunity to involve the community in our last commercial at Bay Meadows Race Track. In addition to the Bay Area having many talented actors, the entire community can now be a part of the Fair and Bay Meadows’ history,” stated Dana Stoehr, Fair & Events Manager.
